Wheelys Farmacy CBD oil products are derived from the hemp plant, which has been safely used for centuries
The Chinese have been using hemp roots since the third millennium BCE, when the root was juiced and used for its diuretic properties. The Romans boiled hemp root in water and drank the contents, believing it reduced joint stiffness, inflammation, and gout. In fact, plant medicine is nothing new. Modern herbalists recognize that the healing power of plants lies in the interactions of all their various components. All of these compounds working together is called the “Entourage Effect,” a term first used by two Israeli scientists in 1998 to describe their findings. They showed that using the natural chemical compounds found in hemp together was more beneficial than isolating any single compound like CBD or THC.
The Endocannabinoid System
While CBD is certainly one of the most important compounds found in hemp, the plant contains a host of other elements that work together within the endocannabinoid system. This interaction helps many of our body natural processes, such as sleep, digestion, hormone regulation, inflammation, and more.
The endocannabinoid system regulates the body functions closely linked to the nervous system. It consists of cannabinoid molecules that are naturally synthesized in our bodies. Called endocannabinoids, they target protein receptors – called cannabinoid receptors. Endocannabinoid deficiencies are thought to be at the root of many disorders, including migraines, fibromyalgia, irritable bowel syndrome, neurotransmitter disorders, and epilepsies. Cannabinoids
Traditional cannabis plants have over 80 cannabinoids, THC being the most well-known, followed by CBD. The hemp plant is closely related to the cannabis plant but contains minimal THC levels (under 0.3% according to the FDA). CBD is the main active ingredient in hemp. Other cannabinoids elements are associated with the hemp CBD, and the low THC content makes its use widespread and legal.
CBD effectively supports human health because the body has already its own endocannabinoid system. It is a regulatory structure with millions of cannabinoid receptors in the brain and nervous system. Since natural cannabinoids are produced within our own bodies everyday, it reacts actively to plant-derived cannabinoids as well. Hemp oil used and processed by the body boosts the function of the endocannabinoid system that regulates itself.
Wheelys Farmacy Whole-Plant Philosophy
The hemp plant is perfect exactly the way it is, so Wheely’s Farmacy believes there’s no need to waste any part of it or strip anything from it. In fact, while it was previously believed that CBD isolates were more potent than whole-plant CBD, the 2015 study* below proved that whole-plant cannabidiol was far more effective in treating pain and inflammation than isolated CBD. Not only that, but the whole-plant CBD had better results at lower dosages than even higher doses of isolated CBD.

No Psychoactive Properties
Department of Agriculture Approved Industrial Hemp has no psychoactive properties. Wheely’s Farmacy whole-plant hemp CBD oil consists of the entire hemp plant, including the root. There are 400+ beneficial chemical compounds found in the Hemp plant. More than 60 are cannabinoid elements, which includes hundreds of compounds like cannabidiol (CBD), secondary cannabinoids, terpenoids, terpenes, and flavonoids. All of these work together, in what is known as the “Entourage Effect,” which increases the beneficial properties of whole plant CBD. These properties include THC at a level so low that the plants is considered non psychoactive, which means that the side effects associated with marijuana hardly exist.
